Everyone talks about AI, but no one has the time to learn it. So, we found the easiest way to learn AI in as little time as possible: The Rundown AI.

It's a free AI newsletter that keeps you up-to-date on the latest AI news, and teaches you how to apply it in just 5 minutes a day.

Plus, complete the quiz after signing up and they’ll recommend the best AI tools, guides, and courses – tailored to your needs.

One common question we get is: "Where should I start?"

I know it's tough to answer. There's a lot of FOMO, and you don't know where to begin.

"Learning is not supposed to be fun. It doesn't have to be actively not fun either, but the primary feeling should be that of effort. It should look a lot less like that '10 minute full body' workout from your local digital media creator and a lot more like a serious session at the gym. You want the mental equivalent of sweating."

"So for those who actually want to learn. Unless you are trying to learn something narrow and specific, close those tabs with quick blog posts. Close those tabs of 'Learn XYZ in 10 minutes'. Consider the opportunity cost of snacking and seek the meal - the textbooks, docs, papers, manuals, longform. Allocate a 4 hour window. Don't just read, take notes, re-read, re-phrase, process, manipulate, learn."

In short: learning is not supposed to be easy.

If anyone tells you it's easy, ignore them. It's like working out. It’s difficult and painful at first, but once you get the hang of it, you get addicted. You love to learn.

So today, I want to give you resources that will actually help you get started with AI.

But remember: these are not your typical "Learn AI in a week" resources.

These are fundamentals that will help you understand the foundations so you can explore on your own.

Your Starting Points:

Zero to Hero - by Andrej Karpathy himself

Neural Networks and Deep Learning - the basics (where most people should start)

Remember This:

If you get frustrated while learning this, that's how it's supposed to be.

But after you push past that frustration, you'll be 100 times better at this than before.

Keep learning!

That's all for today.

Catch you tomorrow! ✌️

That’s it for this week, folks! If you want more, be sure to follow our Twitter (@letsgetintoAI)
